These are black and white spot illustrations for text. My black and white work is largely done in graphite on paper or bristol, or in acrylic on illustration board.

At present, only three of these illustrations have been published: the three illustrations for "Investment Banking in Reverse" by Dolan Morgan appeared in Volume 2, Issue 1 of the literary journal apt.

The rest were created as personal explorations of the challenges spot illustration poses, using some favorite texts as inspiration.
